Preparing for an interview (Part 4): Prepare for the unexpected

Contrary to what many people think, preparing for an interview entails much more than just knowing what you are going to say or even rehearsing ways of selling yourself as a candidate.
If you have read the last three blog entries on this series you have probably noticed that most of the things I discussed or even the recommendations I made are based on the interview that we think we will get. In other words, we usually prepare for a specific and ordinary interview process, but what happens if the day of your interview it goes differently than what you planned for?
